Which PDF: the original statement or e-Statement PDF from any Indonesian bank, from the app, internet banking or the bank's email. Screenshots, photos and scans cannot be read.
How it works
Our general reader looks for a transaction table in the PDF: rows with dates, amounts and a running balance. If it finds one, each transaction becomes one row.
If the bank's name is printed in the statement's letterhead and the bank is on our beta list, it is recognised. The beta list is currently BNI, BRI, BSI, SeaBank, blu, CIMB Niaga, Danamon, Permata, OCBC, UOB, Panin and bjb. Otherwise the result is shown as Bank lain (beta) (Indonesian for "other bank").
Still in beta
The general reader is built from how statements are usually laid out and hasn't been tested on a real statement from every bank. Every result is still checked against the balances printed on the statement. A flagged row means: check this row against your PDF.
If your file can't be read or the result is wrong, use the Send an anonymised sample button. Every letter and digit is replaced before anything is sent, so we only get the layout. Or email halo@rekeningkoran.id with the bank's name.
What you get
Each transaction becomes one row with Date, Description, Debit, Credit and Balance columns, as numbers you can add up. Download it as Excel or CSV. For accounting software, choose Export for… and then Jurnal, Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo or Zoho Books. To match it against your ledger, click Reconcile on the account.
Balance check
We recalculate the running balance and match it against the balances printed on the statement. If something doesn't match, that row is flagged so you can check it.

Questions
My bank isn't on the list. Can I try it?
Yes. Drop in the original PDF statement from any Indonesian bank. If the transaction table can be read, the result is shown with a beta label and the balances are still checked against the printed ones.
What if my PDF can't be read?
Use the Send an anonymised sample button. Every letter and digit is replaced before anything is sent, so we only get the layout. Or write to halo@rekeningkoran.id with the bank's name, without attaching your statement.
My PDF has a password. Can it be opened?
Yes. This page will ask for the password. It is only used in your browser to open the file and is not stored or sent.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and converted in your browser and is never sent to a server.
