Beta: not yet tested on a real UOB statement

This page reads UOB PDFs with a general reader. It is built from how statements are usually laid out: date, description, debit, credit and balance. We have not tested it on a real UOB Indonesia statement, so check the result before you use it.

Every result is still checked against the balances printed on the statement. We recalculate the running balance and match it against the balances in the PDF. A flagged row means "check this".

How to get a UOB statement

Download the e-Statement as a PDF from UOB's app or internet banking, or use the monthly e-Statement sent to your email. For TMRW accounts, UOB says you can view and download your eStatement in the UOB TMRW app (TMRW help). For the exact steps for your account, ask UOB customer service.

What you get

One row per transaction with Date, Description, Debit, Credit and Balance columns, as numbers you can add up.
Download as Excel or CSV.
For accounting software, choose Export for… and then Jurnal, Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo or Zoho Books.

Things to note

Password-protected PDFs. This page will ask for the password. It is only used in your browser.
Your file is not uploaded. The PDF is read in your browser and is never sent to a server.
Scanned PDFs can't be read yet. Use the original PDF from UOB's app, internet banking or email.

Questions

Are UOB statements fully supported?

Not yet. This is in beta: it has not been tested on a real UOB statement. The PDF is read with a general reader, and the result is checked against the printed balances. Check the result before you use it.

What if my UOB PDF can't be read?

Click Send an anonymised sample. Every letter and digit is replaced before anything is sent, so we only see the page layout. You can also email halo@rekeningkoran.id.

My PDF has a password. Can it be opened?

Yes. This page will ask for the password. It is only used in your browser to open the file, and it is not stored.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The PDF is read and converted in your browser and is never sent to a server.

How to convert a bank statement to Excel

Indonesian number formats

1.234.567,89, DB/CR markers and dates without a year are read correctly, so the numbers in Excel are ready to sum.

Check for yourself that nothing is uploaded

Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12, or Cmd+Option+I on a Mac) and choose the Network tab.
Drop your PDF onto this page and convert it.
Look at the request list: none carries your file (small requests to /ingest are anonymous counts with no file content). You can also disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded, and conversion still works.
